I don’t know how I get so lucky to photograph such beautiful and heartfelt couples. Kaleb and Katie are two good friends of mine from college. Kaleb was in a serious bromance with my boyfriend Thomas after the two of them lived together for a semester in college. During the time Kaleb & Thomas lived together, I also got to know Kaleb’s girlfriend, and now fiancé, Katie. They are both so genuine, real, down to earth, and hilarious. We spent the day getting ready for this shoot listening to 90s music in their apartment. That’s how awesome they are. Kaleb also proposed to Katie after they saw “Psycho” on Halloween. Even more awesome, right? Their love and friendship was easy and fun to capture with my camera, and I was grateful for the opportunity to photograph them down in good ol’ Champaign, Illinois.
