Every now and then, I shoot a family session that actually physically warms my heart. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s true. It’s not the cute outfits or perfect light that warms my soul (though it certainly helps). It’s when a family comes to be photographed exactly as they are without trying to be perfect- and out of the imperfection actually comes the perfect photos that will be cherished for decades to come. Capturing this family was exactly the type of session I’m talking about; they let their little ones be little and didn’t try to force them to do anything they didn’t want to do. They walked, twirled, kissed, laughed, and had a million sweet moments in our short little session. I am so lucky to do what I do, to witness as much love on a daily basis, and to have clients like this sweet family trust me to capture such important memories. I am forever thankful and grateful <3
