Ya’ll. I am in love with my 2018 weddings already, and Elizabeth & Brian’s was only my second of the year. It’s hard to put into words how amazing their wedding day was. When I showed up on their big day, Elizabeth calmly told me about how she had to find a last minute replacement dress 2 weeks before her wedding date to an issue at her dress shop, and her DJ almost didn’t make it due to some bad luck involving a house fire. As she was telling me this, I was slightly freaking out on the inside, but she was just calm as a cucumber- and those are the moments I love. When couples take a step back and realize that even if all the frills and pretty details were gone, they still get to make their biggest dream come true: promising forever to their best friend. I am so thankful to have been there to capture all the amazing moments of their day. And as much as I LOVE Elizabeth & Brian, I am just as much in love with all of their friends and family. It literally took me almost 20 minutes to say goodbye to everyone at the end of the night, including crying with Elizabeth because I didn’t want such an incredible day to end (literally the way a toddler does when they don’t want to leave the park….okay maybe a little less dramatic, but still). Thank you for being you, Elizabeth & Brian- I am so grateful to have been a part of your wedding day and can’t wait to see what your future brings.
